At least once a month Anglia Water Authority has to dredge this stream. It has long been the final curtain for all manner of funa and flora. Some of the losses are of notable species such the bank vole, grass snake, frogs, toads, newts, fish. The residue of creosote that was lwft in the containe was sufficient to form a suffocating film on the surface of the lake resulting in the death of a huge shoal of bream. I could go on, but I’ll just ask the question, WHY?
