Macro Moments Challenge | Week 15

Fall Colours | Leaf Macro’s

&

A Robins Song

Fall Bling

The verdant days of summer now long past

Now tis autumnal hue’s that make us gasp.

From fading green’s, to red’s so, so  bright.

Colour’s merge, when in windswept flight.

To see them suspended,  yet a gentle breeze

Swings them to, and fro with intent to tease

The spider, on whose silk thread they  swing.dsc01721

Just a for a second a robin, dressed in fall bling

Sang its autumn song, sending fall upon its way

A lyric, if it could of voiced, would probably say

Thank you leave’s you’ve  done your part so well

And now your free, but with my song  I will  tell

How in the verdant days of summer now long past

You sustained all life,  a mammoth  sized task.

You produced oxygen, all spring, and summer too

The human race please heed,  don’t leave it, don’t rue

The past, for clearing forests ,  your own kind have told

Of all the harm its causing, stop now, let us all grow old!
