Don’t Anticipate the Imminent Future
Anticipation, what a cruel word,
Alludes to paranoia so I’ve heard.
When, if, will it, please turn out right!
Can turn out wrong, you know it might.
Don’t think about the imminent future.
Don’t hold your breath, it don’t suit ya.
Please no more of unneeded hurries,
And I’ll anticipate, you’ll have no worries.
