Haiku Horizons | Joy #3

Mick Talbot
rising rays
over shadows war
sunlit joy
why not forever
let joy be
rising joy
crying merriment
war belayed
let joy be
reinstated now
not a dream
plip plop pllip
sounds a desert needs
come on rain
dust storms wind blasting
beautiful sight for sore eyes
old river revealed

    I am humbled to have inspired this series of haiku. Yes, why cannot peace linger longer and war be gone. such a reality is pure joy. Wishing peace and harmony and good health in 2017
