the winter
sun shining bright cold
morning frost
——
winter sun white cold of morn hoar frost perfection unfelt warmth thawing
——
deceiving winter
sunny days bright yet so cold
hedgehogs fast asleep
frogs caught out on warmer days
hearty croaks a month to soon
——
spring two months the wait
birds fed their hunger sated
negates winter cold
—–
in control of words
flowing unabridged heart felt
Dorinda Duclos
—–

winter sun
her heart warming words
