Endangered Sea Turtles on Mexico’s Coasts

Some baby turtles were born on the beach last night – right near our regular chairs!

(Email to friend from Puerto Vallarta, November 2016).

The hotel collected them and put them in a tub with sand from the beach. There was some controversy about whether this was the proper environment for them, weren’t they supposed to be put in salt water?

I cupped him in my hands and took his frantic flapping little body up to join his siblings.

    Went there and awesome share post M.
    My niece was just here and when I driver her home – we did the perpetual story to help pass slow traffic time.
    You know it is where one person tells part of the story – then the next – then you go back and forth and it builds a Cool story –
    So we ended up with a theme of turtles !
    And this post made me smile to recall that November memory
